How To Apply
To participate in the symposium, students must submit an abstract.
Who Can Submit An Abstract
Individuals who have completed any research whilst a student of the UWA Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences are eligible to submit an abstract.
This includes 4th year research projects, BMedSc(Hons), vacation research projects, and any other work done.
Guidelines For Submission
Abstracts will be limited to 200
words maximum.
Abstracts must include an
Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussions section.
For studies with incomplete
results, a modified abstract with additional detail in the Methods section may
be accepted on the proviso that,
if accepted, an updated Abstract with all results will be provided within 2 weeks of the conference date.
Students must complete the abstract submission form and submit
this to shmrc@wamss.org.au by Sunday,
July 31st, 2011

Selection Of Participants
From the abstracts submitted, 9 students will be selected to give an oral presentation at the symposium.
Any students not selected to give an oral presentation is invited to present a Poster Submission at the Conference.
